🏆Selection Process — Step by Step

1. Single online examination conducted by IBPS (English Language 30 questions/30 marks, Quantitative Aptitude 35 questions/30 marks, Reasoning Ability 35 questions/40 marks; total 100 questions/100 marks/60 minutes, each section separately timed 20 minutes), followed by document verification. Candidates must qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks decided by IBPS in concurrence with J&K Bank; minimum aggregate qualifying marks 40% for General category and 35% for reserved categories. Negative marking of one-fourth of the marks per wrong answer; no penalty for unanswered questions. Selection based on aggregate score in the online examination; tie decided by date of birth (older candidate placed above). Reserve list up to 50% of vacancies per category, valid 1 year from publication of the selection list or until the next recruitment notification, whichever is earlier.

Each stage is qualifying — you must clear one stage to reach the next. Final merit is prepared as per the rules in the official notification.
