Assess patient health problems and needs and implement nursing care plans; administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent or disabled patients; work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled; monitor clinical and quality indicators; adhere to infection-control, patient-safety and JCI-related regulations; handle wheelchairs and stretchers; receive samples and dispatch reports; process patient samples on point-of-care testing devices and report critical values; support housekeeping and quality programmes as required.
