🏆Selection Process — Step by Step

1. Stage I — Written Examination (60 marks): objective-type, OMR, 60 minutes. Road Sign Recognition 10, General English (Middle School standard) 20, General Knowledge 10, Mizo Language Proficiency 20. The Mizo section is qualifying only — minimum 40% (8/20) required; its marks are NOT counted in the merit list
2. Stage II — Two-Wheeler Skill Test (40 marks): candidates shortlisted 1:5 on written merit. Starting 10, Riding 10, Parking 10, After Riding 10. Minimum 50% (20/40) to qualify
3. Stage III — Interview / Viva-Voce (20 marks): candidates shortlisted 1:3 on written + skill test performance. Minimum 12/20 (60%) to qualify. Document verification is also conducted
4. Final merit: combined marks of written (excluding Mizo), skill test and interview. Tie-break: higher written marks, then higher skill test marks, then older candidate

Each stage is qualifying — you must clear one stage to reach the next. Final merit is prepared as per the rules in the official notification.
